I bought these new in 2017 from The Shoemart for $375. The receipt says they are 'Alden Men's FD-945, Size 8 Width C. They were worn about once a week and have never been resoled nor do they have any inserts of any kind. I believe I have changed shoe laces. They fit me fine but are getting a bit tight in width so i am moving up a width size. I read that with age feet widen and believe that is what is happening. They are factory rejects and I have needed to glue the soles, which appears (the shiny/darker, linear areas of soles) in one of the images. Each shoe has a reject stamp (R with a circle around it) in it. I”ve used 'Shoe-Fix Glue' which I purchased on Amazon and it seems to work fine. If these are ever resoled, maybe the problem will clear up. These will ship UPS Priority mail.
